Meet the Founder
Kerrie Carr Keesee has senior-level experience operating inside both the Federal Legislative and Executive Branches, with a track record of managing complex policy processes and delivering results in high-stakes environments. She has over 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors and brings her diverse knowledge and experience to every client engagement.
She began her political career in the United States Senate, where she managed a diverse policy portfolio and represented U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions in engagements with constituents, lobbyists, and federal agencies.
She served the entirety of President Trump’s first term as a political appointee at two White House Offices – the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR). At USTR she managed the statutorily required Congressional processes for major trade negotiations, including the U.S.-United Kingdom and U.S.-Kenya agreements. She developed and executed political and communications strategies that contributed to the overwhelmingly bipartisan passage of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
At OMB, she coordinated legislative strategy across the Executive Branch, Congress, and external stakeholders on dozens of legislative initiatives and successfully led multiple Senate-confirmed nominees through expedited, bipartisan confirmation processes. She played a part in producing three fiscal year Presidential Budgets and learned how “the sausage gets made” from the highest levels of government.
At the end of President Trump’s first term, Kerrie relocated to Huntsville, Alabama and worked as a contractor for Army Materiel Command. She led the development and execution of the Commander’s Congressional Engagement Strategy and regularly analyzed evolving legislative language to advise senior leaders on policy and positioning.
Kerrie’s private sector experience includes several years in Alabama Power Company’s Supply Chain Management Department. She also worked for a number of years for a management and technology consulting firm, guiding organizations through change and developing new clients for technology implementations. She earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Auburn University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Across these roles, she has built durable relationships with senior policymakers, developed a detailed understanding of Congressional procedure and Executive Branch processes, and has successfully translated complex policy developments into actionable guidance for decision-makers. She understands the challenges of senior leaders in industry and government. This combination of experience positions her to provide clients with informed, practical government affairs and strategic advisory services grounded in how Washington actually works.
